Ramon Solis
Architectural Woodworking Engineer
Ramon Solis is TMC's skilled woodworking engineer with a calm, sensitive approach to design. He has a deep appreciation for the process of working with finely tuned AutoCAD Design & Cabinet Vision programs and a reverence for the natural beauty of Wood Veneers, Hardwoods, and the infinite variety of forms they can take.
"Every shape and line has intention. Every Plan and Design has been discussed and cared for."
Ramon began his Architectural woodworking experience as a youngster taking Architectural Design classes in High School. Since that time, he has engaged in a more disciplined study of woodworking Engineering/Design at The Millwork Company for 16+ years. Ramon has also taken late night classes in college, which has laid the foundation for his career as an Architectural Woodworking Engineer.
"Architectural Woodworking, drafting, and design cause us to balance overall composition with close attention to the most minute details. Every design shape and line has intention. Every surface and edge has been touched and cared for to meet our clients expectations. We strive to let the high detailed drawings speak for itself, while juxtaposing more rigid geometries of the man-made world beside the natural aspects of the Architectural wood Veneers & Hardwoods. So, in a very personal way, each project is a quiet celebration and reminder of the intimate relationship that exists between us and nature..."
